The compact controller for one extruder

The EXTRUSION PACK² OPEN S is a ready-for-connection system for the automation of one extruder.

The most important features are: 

• control of up to 9 temperatures, heating and/or heating/cooling with pre-tuning
• control of the extruder motor
• storage of recipes internal and USB Stick
• a freely configurable control loop, e.g. for melt pressure control
• manual operation level integrated into operating device
• the PLC used is a Mitsubishi FX2N. Its functionality has been extended by the new multi-zone temperature control module RE10TC with 10 heating/cooling controllers
• 5.7" operating unit with touch screen
• user acess controlled by password
• online language switchover
• external speed setpoint
• trend curve display
• Option heating current monitoring prepared
